About Sarah Stamboulie

Sarah Stamboulie helps organizations and executives improve their leadership capacity. With more than 20 years experience in human resources and career services, she currently heads Stamboulie Consulting, a Manhattan-based career consultancy which she founded in 2008.

She also serves as a principal at Next Step Partners, an international leadership development and executive coaching firm. In both capacities, Sarah provides executive coaching, transition coaching, and small business coaching for clients across a range of industries and functional areas, including:

Sarah earned an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Vassar College. She is certified to administer Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessments and is a graduate of the Coaches Training Institute (CTI).

After receiving her MBA, Sarah joined Nortel Network’s human resources leadership development program, and eventually headed human resources at Morgan Stanley Trust Company and Cantor Fitzgerald. She later led Alumni Career Services at Columbia Business School, overseeing career programming and resources for 36,000 alumni throughout the world.

Many top business schools, including Harvard, Columbia, UCLA Anderson, and NYU Stern, hire and recommend Sarah to coach their alumni. She also consults for Bain Consulting and The Bridgespan Group and numerous not-for-profit foundations. Sarah has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and CBS Moneywatch.
